You should have seen the awful silk, maroon shirt my dad was going to wear for these pics. It was sheer awful.
Cillian asked me if we can take down grandpas pictures when he dies. I said that it was a good idea for us to put them away until we are feeling better and will be happy to see them again. So before then, I wanted to sneak one in. Love you dad. XO. Suzanne

Not that I was ever a huge fan, I just couldn't resist with his large cranium. No sewing required, besides a steam ripper to get out a giant embroidered flower from the front of the thrifted red overalls. I dressed as Lois and we hit Family Place for a play that day. We handed out glow in the dark bats and sparkle glue. Great memory.

Christmas in Hawaii a few years ago. This was such an incredible experience. I've wanted to learn to surf for so long. Now I wish every now and then I could just pick up and go. My body was so sore but it was so worth it. It was an amazing feeling. Things weren't perfect at this time in life but it didn't stop me from much. I want to combine this awesome chic with all that she has learned in the past year to make one complete me now. She's almost there. Just a few more steps left of growing up and learning and this girl, ahem, woman, will really have it all.

Decided to Throwback Thursday to the first month of my blog. I decided to start recording my experience as a raw foodist. We had Wednesday night dinners every week where I would go all out gourmet and our neighbours daughter Jessica and our friend Laura would join us as well. It was such a great experience and a nice little tradition we had going on. C was such a great eater then. Not even remotely as picky as he is these days. And of course, he was also still partially bald.
