~ while mama's away ~

While things were hopping at the Juice Caboose this past weekend, the boys made their way on another out of the way adventure.  I was thinking I should share this little book that my hubby has found that gives directions to these little places but then I realized I would have to kill you. I mean, a place to fish and swim and bring the dog in utter peace and quiet with no one else to disturb us is quite priceless.  C has been asking for more adventures.  I'm excited to report that tonight's adventure is an old familiar one.  Our weekly summer date with other families at Kits Pool.  A tradition from summer's past which I was worried I'd be missing out on this summer, but we moved our regular day to a new one that suits us perfectly.  And of course no one will be sacrified if you show up there.  We expect it to be busy as it's one of those summer traditions we expect to share with the rest of Vancouver.  XO.  S
