Summer has truly arrived in Vancouver. Everyone that was complaining last week that they couldn't find summer is now complaining about the heat. Ahem. My advice is stop complaining. I'm thrilled that it is here and the sun is shining and the weather is warm and should be out like this at the beach every day but my body has decided otherwise. I've been sick since Saturday, and before that, stressed beyond my limit. Hence my absence these past few days. I'm a firm believer that the body will take care of everything including our pscyhological ailments and well wouldn't you know I got a big old cold that stopped me in my tracks, stuck me in my bed and took care of all my work vs. childcare woes. Ain't that grand. This week I'm summonining higher powers, and our babysitter that is back in town after a week at camp. The Juice Caboose will be back up and running later this week at the Friday Night Shipbuilders Plaza Night Market. Me, I hope I'll be up and running sooner than that but I'm still treading slowly. Even the beach yesterday, wasn't all that fun. But, my advice, stop complaining! Sure I can't taste my food, or inhale/exhale through my nostrils but at least I got to not do those things on the beach in good company. Being sick makes me present and who wouldn't want to be present in this weather, on the beach. It's paradise at my doorstep.
Also, today is the last day to vote for the Circle of Moms Top 25 Photographer Mom Blogs and I'd love to keep my cozy spot in the Top 25. Please VOTE! Last chance! It helps my blog and the Juice Caboose to have such great credentials for the work that I do. XO. S
